Applied Psychokinesis

Parapsychology is a very recent science arguably discovered by the Third Reich. This science involves isolating and discovering those who have demonstrated a proclivity toward ESP or other forms of psychokinesis, and then using a variety of modern tools and techniques to allow the subject to develop and control these abilities. Such techniques include bio feedback, electric shock, hypnosis, and less savory techniques.

There is no record of any individual being able to develop these abilities to a reliable, or useful extent without the intervention of modern technology, though some anecdotal evidence suggests that ancient stories of magic and witchcraft might be linked to primitive demonstrations of psychokinesis.

Though Germany has discovered the science of Parapsychology and through it the use of Applied Psychokinesis (PK), all developed nations of the world are rapidly making efforts to catch up with their own Parapsychology programs. In the United States, the FBI, the Navy, and the United States Army have developed sophisticated programs that are hoped to be approaching the advances made by the Germans. The UK claims to have equaled or surpassed achievements made by Germany, though they have declined to submit these claims to peer review or outside scrutiny.

The FBI uses their Readers primarily in investigations, either as an investigative tool at crime scenes, or to “read minds” during the interview process. The army uses their Readers in military intelligence, in a similar capacity to the FBI. However the Army also employs PK Combat Corps which are trained in the Navy PK program to use PK in primarily an experimental offensive role.

Psychokinesis gains weapon specific bonuses congruent with Military or Law Enforcement determined by selecting either a Military or FBI PK class.
